Conferences

Day #13 - Yesterday Amaya had her first quarter conferences at preschool and she has done very well considering she's one of the youngest in her class. She excels at sitting still while listening to short stories, songs, and poems, works and sits without disturbing others, demonstrates positive listening skills, and is able to share her teacher's attention. From what her teacher says, she loves art projects and writing/coloring and spends most of the free time doing these activities. Amaya needs to work on speaking up more and participating in "Circle Time" (she takes after her shy mom!) and picking up her toys. Even though she's just under the age of 3, she's picking up a lot of concepts... recognizing shapes, numbers, and letters, drawing circles, learning the Pledge of Allegiance, learning Bible Verses, and learning new songs with actions. So... today I'm thankful for Kingdom Kids Preschool and her teachers Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Kime who give of their time and talents to teach our little girl!
