Amaya - Sitting Up

I neglected to mention in the last post that these are a few old videos that I've been meaning to put up for a long time... here is another one...

Amaya and Grandma H.

Amaya was just a few days old here... we invited Grandma H. over to help give Amaya her first bath - after which Grandma attempted to dress her. :)

Minnesota Zoo

Our family really enjoys going to the zoo, and we have been members for quite a few years. With a membership, it's very affordable to visit, so we go often. This last time, we spent a total of $4 - two bucks (discounted member price) each for me and Jan (Amaya is free) for a ride on the Monorail.

We don't often get to see the beavers, so this was a special treat:

Amaya wanted to sit on the turtle:

One of my favorite pictures from the day - Amaya watching the fish and sharks at the underwater tank:

In all of the times we have been up to the zoo, Amaya had never ridden the Monorail:

The grizzly bears put on a great show for us - at one point there were two of them playing in the water, on the other side of the glass, literally inches away. Pretty amazing!

One of the bears also decided to climb a tree - I have no idea how he got down!

After seeing the bears, Amaya wanted to hug and kiss a bear, so she got to - kind of.  :)

Amaya really REALLY loves the zoo:

Spring Clean-up

I know it's only a big deal to me, but I have wanted to put a light above the workbench in the garage for a long time. I finally got it done this week:

I've also wanted to organize my workbench area in the utility room in the basement:
