We wished we had a pool closer by and a little cheaper. I suppose one day we'll get a family pass during the summer as Amaya's swimming skills advance. While the Springer's were here, we went to the Soldier's Field swimming pool with all 9 kids and had a great time! The pool has a kiddie pool with tons of fountains and it's a zero foot entry, so the kids can go in as far as they want! Amaya liked it for a little while, and then told me she wasn't a baby and wanted to go in the big kid pool. One of the things we were working on during her last swimming class was learning to jump in the pool without hanging on to my fingers. AND SHE DID IT! She wasn't afraid at all! So... over and over and over again she jumped. We went back to the kiddie pool and she played with Miles and Hope for another hour or so, but was pretty sad when we had to leave.
She's been asking to go back and we just haven't had the time... so this will have to suffice for now....
